Wooden Carriage with a Seated Driver of the Western Han Dynasty from Wuwei

   中国甘肃武威磨嘴子48号西汉后期墓出土的明器木车。双辕，驾一木马。通长 133厘米，高97厘米。木马的头、颈、身、腿、尾系分别雕制，再粘合而成，并施红、白、黑三色彩绘。车舆为横长方形。舆前横置用细竹编成的车javascript:window.open(this.src);" style="cursor: pointer;"/>,javascript:window.open(this.src);" style="cursor: pointer;"/>身的孔眼呈六角形,与《释名·释车》所称“javascript:window.open(this.src);" style="cursor: pointer;"/>,横在车前，织竹作之，孔javascript:window.open(this.src);" style="cursor: pointer;"/>javascript:window.open(this.src);" style="cursor: pointer;"/>也”，正相符合。javascript:window.open(this.src);" style="cursor: pointer;"/>后有轼，在舆右侧即主人乘坐的位置之前。轼上盖着很厚的javascript:window.open(this.src);" style="cursor: pointer;"/>，上施红彩。主人的坐垫为重茵，特别厚，与左侧御者的位子判然有别。《史记·酷吏列传》说和周阳由同坐一辆车的人,“未尝敢均茵、伏”,情况应与此车相同javascript:window.open(this.src);" style="cursor: pointer;"/>舆两侧有高起的车javascript:window.open(this.src);" style="cursor: pointer;"/>，javascript:window.open(this.src);" style="cursor: pointer;"/>顶装冂形铜较。舆下、轴上的间隙垫伏兔二枚。伏兔之外装壶形毂，嵌竹辐16根。辐外端连接轮辋，辋用 6段弧形木件组合而成。舆中装伞盖。盖杠分两节,当中用铜管箍即javascript:window.open(this.src);" style="cursor: pointer;"/>javascript:window.open(this.src);" style="cursor: pointer;"/>加以连接。盖杠顶部装盖斗，插竹盖弓16根。盖弓底端装铜盖弓帽，其上的棘爪钩住用皂缯制作的盖帷之边缘。御者跽坐于舆左侧，双手作持缰状,高33.5厘米,冠服均为黑色。此木车除少量竹制部件外,轭首、轭javascript:window.open(this.src);" style="cursor: pointer;"/>、javascript:window.open(this.src);" style="cursor: pointer;"/>、衡末、javascript:window.open(this.src);" style="cursor: pointer;"/>javascript:window.open(this.src);" style="cursor: pointer;"/>、较、軎及马的当卢、衔镳等均为铜制,相当考究。该车车型属于安车,由汉代画像砖、石所见,汉代官员出行多乘安车。又因其盖帷用皂缯,与《续汉书·舆服志》所称“千石以上皂缯覆盖”的制度相合，所以它应是千石以上官员所乘之车的模型。
