关键词 Polypropylenes;Acoustic emissions;Fracture testing;Composite materials;Agglomeration;Dispersions;Fillers;Morphology;Bonding;Interfaces (materials) 摘 要Acoustic emission during the process of instrumented impact testing was researched with different PP/talc filling composites using the MISTRAS2001 AE SYSTEM.The relationship between different AE descriptive parameters and aggregation structure of PP/talc composites was investigated.It was shown that the active level of the AE signal (AMP) has a relationship with the degree of dispersion of the filler in the matrix.The AE counts of the composites in the process of impact fracture can be affected by change of morphology of the second-phase particles in the matrix.At the same time, the AE signal was continuous under the condition of stronger interface bond between filler and matrix material. copy 2002 Elsevier Science Ltd.All rights reserved.
